Planning to go to MNSSHP for our first time.
It will be a Magic Kingdom day for us anyway, is it best to buy our MNSSHP tickets on entry to the park in the morning or is there somwhere to purchase them during the day ?
Regards......Ted
PS Will it be cheaper if we pre-book ?

We bought our tickets for MNSSHP at guest services in Hollywood Studios a few days before the night we wanted to attend. Can't remember how much it cost but was over $100 for 2 adults and one child much to DH annoyance! Kept moaning at the additional cost when already paid for 14 day ultimate tickets! We went to a party early Oct so probably not as busy as it will be nearer to Halloween.
We had a pool day and then went to Magic Kingdom at night. I think they clear the park and you get bags etc for candy stops on entry to the park.Might be a bit of a long one to do the full day in the park and the party at night. Couldn't believe the amount of people dressed up, parade great and fireworks fantastic. Great if you want to meet the villains from the disney films. We did however queue longer for Thunder Mountain that night than we had earlier on in the week.
Going back in October this year and would love to do it again but I love anything Disney -don't think I could persuade DH to part with the cash to go back however.

Thanks Lou, I must admit on our last trip we went to go to MNSSHP one night not realising you needed an additional ticket !
We just assumed it was included in the price of the "normal" admission ticket, luckily enough near the ticket booths we were asked if we had our tickets and that's when we discovered the need for a separate MNSSHP ticket.
We were so shocked by this that we walked away.
This time we are only going because we haven't done it before, will probably do as you did and buy it at guest services at another park before we go.
We are used to being at one park from early to late so staying right through wont be a problem for us.
Thanks......Ted
You can buy them on the way in on the day, but you get a discount if you pre-book, even if it’s only the day before, about $6-7 per head.
If you’re in the park on the day and have your tickets you just go to one of the wrist band stations to get your bands and bags. You don’t have to leave and come back. At 7 pm the park officially closes to everyone without wrist bands who as politely asked by cast members to leave.
It’s a great night, and we have just booked three, 23rd Sept, 30th & 2nd Oct.

Can you buy them while you in the uk? and if you can can someone give me a weblink so I can see how much they cost please? Thanks

If you see some people dressed in inflatable horse costumes on the 30th Sept, that'll be us!
Themeparksandy: Adults are $54, children are a little less. Call Disney Dining as it's quicker to get through... 001 407 939 3463 then ask to be put through to ticket sales. Ask first off if they'll post to the UK and if they say yes, ask how much (should be either $3 or $10 depending on who you get). Give your email too and you can track the parcel across the USA ..

Really looking forward to this now as we have never been before.
Are we going to look out of place not being dressed up ?

We are having a chill day around the pool and then need to eat before we do MNSSHP.
Should we go to MK early and book an ADR for about 4-5pm or should we eat outside of parks and arrive about 6ish.
What time will they let you into MK and where do you get wristbands and candy bags from?

That sounds like a good plan to me:)
They usually start letting you into the party around 4pm with your event ticket only. After going through the ticket turnstiles, there are CM's putting wristbands on guests and giving out candy bags.
At least that's what they did last year.

I am with him on that :)
We are still going though, but we are going to the park for the day and staying for MNSSHP.
