I called a branch of first choice travel agents today and was quoted £545 for 3 adults and 1 child 7 day premium park passes. I asked the agent to check and double check as the price was £43 cheaper than ATD who were my previous best quote. "yes the quote is correct"
The agent then took my card details to enable him to take a £50 deposit and told me that he would be in touch to confirm that it had all gone through.
About 10 minutes later he called back to say that he had made a mistake and the price was in fact something like £680 after he had taken any discount off that he was able to.
Not Happy!
Wrote a shirty e-mail to first choice stating my disappointment with them and that I think that they should honour the price. I'll not hold my breath.:(

You paid the deposit in good faith, then they should honour the price - annoying isn't it!!!:spin:

they should but they wont FC are getting a lot of bad press of late hope you get it sorted

How annoying. Are you able to get your deposit back as it was mis-sold?

I would be surprised if they would honor the price, but they should refund your deposit so that the tickets can be bought at an appropriate price.

He didn't take the deposit as he realised his mistake first.
