We've always signed them and photocopied them afterwards before we left the UK in case we lose them.
There is no need to sign them in front of the Disney/Universal folk and it'll just delay your entry.

We signed Flextickets at Seaworld on first time of using them. Don't sign Disney ones cos there's no where to sign them if I remember rightly.

We always sign straight away and take a photocopy of them in case they get lost.

The Disney tickets seem to have the smallest signature strip in the world
Like Jakey, we sign and photocopy them!

I presume you just photocopy the back where the signature is?

 if there is a place to sign them I would because if you lose them then someone else could use them, a good idea to photocopy them then you have proof of them, our only problem is we pick ours up at customer services so we dont have the opportunity to photocopy ours before we use them:wave:
