Hi all

This is my maiden post on the Dibb and I am relying on you all to hold my hand and guide me through the planning of our first ever trip to Disney!

There are 10 of us going next Easter and my dad and I are the only ones who have done any research or planning so far. All I know is that there are 6 of us who want to do Discovery Cove. I'm basing the following plan on just my lot (me, OH, 11 year old and 7 year old at time of travel). I have explained to the rest of the group that we won't necessarily all spend the whole time together as the 'older' members of the party may not be able to keep up!

Please could you experts out there have a look and let me know whether you think it sounds ok. I haven't included any Universal parks as there's nothing that really grabs my attention and I don't want to burn out!

We're planning to buy a 5 day Disney pass and the Discovery Cove package that allows us to go to Seaworld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens. Is this do-able on just these passes?

Thursday 2nd April Arrive in Orlando
Friday 3rd April Magic Kingdom
Saturday 4th April Discovery Cove
Sunday 5th April Animal Kingdom
Monday 6th April Busch Gardens
Tuesday 7th April Rest Day
Wednesday 8th April Aquatica
Thursday 9th April Kennedy Space Centre
Friday 10th April Epcot
Saturday 11th April Rest Day
Sunday 12th April Disney Water Park
Monday 13th April Sea World
Tuesday 14th April MGM
Wednesday 15th April Re-visit favourite Disney park
Thursday 16th April Home time

What do you think? All comments/advice gratefully received.

Thanks.

Sarah.

Hi Sarah :wavey:
I just wanted to say welcome to The Dibb everyone on here is very friendly and always willing to help. I think your plans look great and if I went again I think that I would leave out universal as we were shattered when we came home and it took 2 weeks to get over our holiday. I would recommend Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens they were our best two days apart from our wedding day of course!! Have fun planning and any questions just ask!!

Hi sarah and welcome to the Dibb, itineray looks good, your going to busy though, this is it now you will be hooked, iam on here nearly every day, even check in whilst in Florida, just to keep up with whats happening, if you look round people will have posted reviews on most things, but make a plan to be flexible where the weather is consured, if its a wet day its still not that cold and you dry off very quick with the heat, take plenty of water and have a look on here about the tips and hint its great and will help you.
Welcome once again and have fun.
All the best Colin.

I'm already hooked! I'm on here now whilst I'm at work.

Sssh, don't tell the boss!;)

I'm going to phone for our Discovery Cove tickets today when I get home. I'm so excited! I've already become a Florida bore and I swore I wouldn't let that happen!
