Hi all,
I'm in the process of my Ryanair online check-in to Dublin but I've come across a problem and was wondering if anyone could help?
My 2 DD have just renewed there passports and now don't expire until 2019 because we renewed them early.
On the on-line check-in form it asks for the expiry date of your passport, but it only goes up to 2018 (looks like they haven't allowed for people with 10 years and 9 month passports) any idea's would be welcome? :erm:

I would just turn up at the airport and say you could not check in online and explain the situation. Make sure to get there in plenty of time.

If they try to make you pay or give you hassle then just say ok if you can show me on the internet how I could check in online when your drop down box only goes up to 2018 then I will be happy to pay.

Maybe this is a ploy to get more people to pay?

Saying this, we'll be checking in online with them next week for a trip to Belfast ... we shall see!

I think I'd ring them as I went to Dublin on Tuesday for a 2p return and had no problem checking in on line!!

In case anyone doesn't know Dublin I would recommend getting a bus pass from the tourist desk inside the airport, you can get a family pass for 10 Euros which means you can ride the express bus (747) into Dublin, it takes about 30 minutes as opposed to the other bus that takes an hour and works out much cheaper.

You're lucky I booked a 2p flight for 6 of us 2 weeks ago except Ryanair decided not to run the flight :mad2: They waited until everyone was in the departure lounge and then announced the flight as being delayed for 7 1/2 hours which strangely matched up to their afternoon flight. It cost me £60 for the taxi to Prestwick which I will not get back as the flight was only "delayed" :nonono: I will never ever fly with them again.

That really is a pain in the backside - we were delayed for over an hour as the wheel had to be changed, we were already on the plane, we didn't mind though as safety first.

We would definately fly on a cheap flight again as we really didn't have any problems.
