Center Parcs now have "bella italia" & "cafe rouge" restaurants... you can use your tesco clubcard points to get vouchers :d::d: Also if you decide to book check on the hot deals website for discount codes.

My son went easter to the one by Longleat with his girlfriends family Friday to Monday cost £1200. Even though he enjoyed it and can be quite friviolous with money (my money:) he couldnt believe how expensive it was.

We've never been to any uk ones but did a dutch one and a german one last summer and really liked them, far cheaper than uk as well. Even with the low exchange rate for the euro they worked out cheaper. Hopefully they will have sorted out booking online from uk by now so we will be able to save on the booking fees this time. We used tesco vouchers for our tunnel crossing but obviously can't use them for the parcs.

We've been to Elveden and Whinfell forest (oasis). We love it there. The best time we had I think was in feb. The weather was cold but felt fresh. It was so cold the lake mostly froze over. The views and scenery were even more beatiful. JULIE XXXX

We went to Elveden last March and it snowed when we were on the rapids. I think it adds to the scenery when it's wintery :) Thats why we were thinking of going to Aarons birthday rather than in the summer!! xx

We always go in the winter too! The dark nights in the forest with all the lights on the walk ways are really cool and there's something cool about being in the dome when it's "night" out and swimming out to the rapids with all the lights on is great!

I'm thinking of going again in January, but I've been searching the web for discount codes. The only one I have found is "PPPZ" which gives you 25% off, but it doesn't work for the time we want to go. :(

We always go for long weekends to Sherwood Forest Centre Parcs but go usually in November and December when its cheaper. We usually manage to find money off codes to get it abit cheaper.
Got a letter from them today to go to the Spa for £70 for two people including drinks and a meal, think it has to be done! Be a good treat for my Birthday:grin:
