no i haven't been yet.... my Dbf is going to uni in bath to to theatre management and one of my conditions of moving was we didn't live in bath i'm a country lass ... plus bath is uber expensive... my bf ex boss moved to bath a few months ago but went to live in frome for a few months 1st.... and it sounds idea for us within easy commute for bath and nice and small.... i have been emailing letting agents and temping agences about jobs but think if we make a wee trip before we go we can go see them and get our foot in the door so to speak!

that sound like a good idea. i really like living here (moved down from the north east in 2002) town center is not great, but cos we are only 20 mins from bath and bout 45mins from bristol and salisbury its not that bad. we could have our own dibb meets!

try here (http://www.frometouristinfo.co.uk/accom_more.asp?type=hotel) or if you really wanted to treat yourself try babington house here (http://www.babingtonhouse.co.uk/launch.php#1***1) madonna and robbie williams among others have stayed here. zoe ball got married here. i think it loos beautiful.

also have you looked at bath spa (http://www.thermaebathspa.com/) for treats.

We live in Cricklade (more pubs than shops on the High Street - lol) Bath is within easy reach and often go shopping there

When I saw the title of your thread I thought that you were offering people to share a bath with you :pgig::pgig:

I would say that was a blonde moment but considering I am a brunette it doesn't work :pgig::pgig:

I went to college in Weston Super Mare and used to go into Bristol for our nights out and we went to see Dire Straits in Shepton Mallet.
Good luck on your new move :thumbs-up

I live in Frome too

We moved down here from Surrey, we were originally going to move to Trowbridge, but preferred Frome! Easy in to Bath, now that they have re-opened the A36, easy into Bristol and Cribbs Causeway!
Easy to Weymouth and to Devon/Cornwall!

We have an Argos, Woolies, M&S food, Sainsburys, Somerfield, Boots. Nothing in the way of clothes though! But you can go to Bath/Warminster/Trowbridge for that :thumbs-up

We have a river too :d:

For a budget choice, we stayed at the travelodge in bath - they sometimes have special offers on. It wasn't the Ritz, but better than some TL's I've stayed at as it was originally a hotel that TL has taken over.
