Just to help others out that might take a look at this. That address is the intersection of Kirkman Road and International Drive. You actually can not turn into it from Kirkman Road. You will need to turn onto International Drive and take your first left. This will put you at the back side of the shopping plaza that it is located in.

If you miss the turn and stay on Kirkman you will have to cross I-4 and turn around (by Universal) if you were heading west. If you are heading east on Kirkman the U-turn will be easier to make.

It's a great option for some fresh food and a buffet style restaurant. Lots of salads and some hot items to go with it (potatoes, pasta, etc.). My MIL was thrilled to eat there after she'd had a week of standard fare.

We've done that before  you can spot Sweet Tomato from I-Drive and it looks like you can get into it from Kirkman

I think the only thing I would change would be #8. Once you on I-Drive just cross over Kirkman and turn left at the first light. Traffic is generally very heavy and U-turns can be difficult. When you turn left it will be obvious that you need to turn into the shopping plaza. Sweet Tomatoes is in its own building in the corner of the car park.

There are two other Sweet Tomatoes locations but none are convenient to the tourism district. One is in Altamonte Springs and the other is on East Colonial which some of you take to go to Cocoa Beach.

Having thought about Sweet Tomatoes and Dibbers wanting options like this it reminded me of Ruby Tuesday. Personally I like their salad bar and a lot of people go there just for it. It would be a good option if you didn't want a buffet restaurant as a whole. They have full menu options so it would be a good mixture for some families.

They have several locations so take a look at their website (http://rubytuesdays.com/) for the closest to you. We go to the one near Universal on Kirkman. We've only been once where we've had to wait to be seated and that was Mother's Day so I can completely understand that.

We have never been to Sweet Tomatoes yet in the 7 years of going to Florida, but out friends have been and said it was great. We too enjoyed the salad bar at Ruby Tuesdays and it is a lot better than the offerings of several other restaurants. I am sure that when we go in a few weeks tim we will drop by sweet tomatoes and give them a try.
