Hello All,

We're booked for 1 week in October - have been before with DS (14) but first time for DD (7). Trying to get the balance right, but also to see all the "essentials". Here's what we have so far:

Wed 22nd Arrive
Thurs 23rd Disney MGM
Friday 24th Seaworld
Saturday 25th Universal
Sunday 27th Gatorland (we love it - have to go back)
Monday 28th Magic Kingdom.
Tuesday 29th Discovery Cove

Problem I have is with MK - it's an extra magic hours day for those entitled (not us). Is it likely to be really busy? I have planned the days according to various guides as to busiest days for each park, so it would mean starting all over - should i stick with this or change?

If you have been to Gaterland before then do you really need a full day there? Could you not maybe do half a day and add half a day water park in there? They are really good fun..

We did a week in Sept last year and did

Sat - Shoppping, swimming rest day
Sun - Discovery Cove
Mon - US/IOA
Tues - TL
Wed - Shopping
Thurs - SW

This time we are going for a week in Sept and concentrating on Disney, whilst we will have one days shopping as I can get all my families x-mas presents we are better planned and know that we don't need too much rest.

Try to make the most of yr time, what tickets are you getting so I can think of some recommendations?

Hi Universal will be busy the weekend esp with HHN on if u could swap DC with Universal it'd be better, also as for MK it'd be better if you could do MNSSHP ltd guests good atmosphere etc:thumbs-up

I haven't bought any tickets yet! I want to get itineray sorted so I can book DC first, which will include entry to Seaworld. Will then just get 2 day tix for disney parks (MK and MGM) and 1 day universal - so I know tickets won't be best value but only want to buy what we'll use as prob won't be going back for years! Decided against doing MNSHHP because of extra costs and DD is going to be so tired and happy with everything else I didn't think it necessary. Paying for everything on credit so have to be careful! Should also point out that we are going to spend 10 days on Gulf coast after week in Orlando so will have plenty of relaxing time.

I would do Discovery Cove nearer the beginning of the week, that way if you have to change the date for any reason, (bad weather, etc), then at least you have the rest of the week to rearrange something.:wavey:
