Can anyone help please?

We will be going to Florida February 2009 and I plan to have my 40th birthday meal at the California Grill, but I wish this to coincide with Wishes. Can anyone advise a good time to book the reservation for? I know it will depend on the time of the fireworks but if you can give a timescale it would be very helpful. Also can you request a window seat on booking your ADR?

Also can anyone tell me where I can obtain information on birthday cruises?

Hi Squishy

It depends what you want to do. There is a fantastic viewing platform to watch the fireworks. If you want to see the fireworks at the end of your meal then i would suggest allowing about an hour and a half. Even if you miss time it you can always nip to go and see the fireworks and then return to your meal. I also believe if you have a receipt for a meal that day you can go back and see them. Not sure about booking a window seat tho.

Hope this helps

When we went in April, Wishes was on at 10pm. Our table was booked for 9.30pm but we didn't get to sit down until 9.45pm because when I booked my ADR, I told the agent that it was a special occasion. She suggested that we could ask for a table by the window because it was our anniversary. She said that it was not guaranteed but that when we check in at the podium, we should repeat this request. When we arrived, they didn't need prompting and wished us a happy anniversary. They said if we were prepared to wait a few minutes they were sure we could be accommodated. They got us a great table - right smack bang in front of the fireworks - and we didn't leave our seats at all. We had already seen Wishes twice and we just relaxed and watched it from the table. When it was over, the waitress took our order. It was lovely. At the end, they put a little chocolate banner on our desserts wishing us a happy anniversary.
