Hi does anyone know the temperatures in NYC in march
And has anybody ever stayed at the Hotel Belleclaire Manhattan

Ive just looked on the average and 8 is the max and 1 the minimum. we are going the last few days in Feb so need to wrap up warm!

It can be very cold. St Patrick's Day is in March and I know it is always very cold for the parade.

This past March was cold. 30s to low 50s.

The Belleclaire is up on 77th. A bit out of the way unless you plan on spending alot of time at the MNH and Central Park. I havent stayed there. But the location is nice although since its on broadway it may get noisy at night. Subway and bus nearby. I believe the closest subway stop is 79th.
Be aware not all rooms have private bathrooms.

We went this past March, for the last 3 days of the month, and it was really cold. We were walking round Central Park with red noses, lol! The wind round the buildings nearly takes your breath away. We were lucky we had no rain until the last day, and then it absolutely chucked it down, so be prepared for anything. We still had a great time, just take your winter coats, hats, gloves etc. :d:

I was there this March 10-15th and :omg: was it cold!!!
Went up Empire State one evening and couldn't take any decent pictures as I was shaking that much with the cold:cry: Another evening I went to Times Square and all I could think about was getting back to the hotel and getting a lovely hot shower:grin:

As a first timer to NY I have to say it is a fab place and I definitely would love to return:grin:

We went in March and loved it, but boy was it cold. We had snow-hoods to wear! Our last day was an actual blizzard. We kept having to pop into nice warm shops to escape the cold (well, that was our excuse ...) but hey, we still had fun. There's lots to do indoors.
