In your opinion which is the best?
I've used P20 and liked the texture as it didn't take much to rub in and didn't need to be applied very long before exposure. There are so many good offers on others at the moment thatthis now seems expensive so I thought I'd give something else a try.
All opinions welcome:grin:
Thanks

We use the Boots own brand factor 40 one. Only downside I've found is that it leaves a yellow ring around the sleeve of my boy's white school polo shirts.

We always use Ultrasun but it's not available in many shop so we buy it on-line.

Have tried P20 but it stained all our clothes. Also tried the Boots version but we had to literally scrape it off at the end of the day - it wouldn't just wash off.

We tried the Piz Buin last time we went to Florida and can recommend it.

We only reapplied it after swimming (just in case) and never had any problems with it.

Can't comment on any others as this is the only one we have used.

All about the same but the Boots one is really thick and doesn't really absorb. The all day lotions do tend to leave marks on white clothes. I have gone for the Ambre Solaire clear sprays this time, as they don't ruin your clothes. Also got some of the 50ml sachets of lotions to put in my bag so I won't have to lug a bottle round with me.

We're using Bergaderm factor 30 after being recommended it on here. Its a 6 hour mousse, lovely to put on and we've had no problem with burning, I apply it in the morning and then again middle of the afternoon if we're still out. My youngest always burns and he's been fine with this. Sainsbury sell a factor 20 but I get the factor 30online at sunshinehealth shop.

We used the Piz Buin once a day and it was great. Carried a sachet with us just in case but never needed it.

I used to use P20 for about 6 years but switched t Piz Buin (30) after the last lot stained a few clothes. Am thrilled and wish I'd changed over earlier. Less staining, not such a nice texture to put on, less time between putting it on and sun exposure, easier to tell you've covered everywhere. Both have had great results for me!

We also always used to use P20 but, it does really leave stains on your clothes and on our beach towels. It also glows up a bit under UV light, so looks great in the Haunted Mansion. :d:

I think we'll definitely be trying something different this time, looks like Piz Buin is the hot favourite at the moment.

The problem i have with Piz Buin is that unless you are size 0 a tube does not last long. We find that Parasol 25 is great, easy to apply, lasts for ages, both UV a + b and most importantly the girls like it!!!!!

If you are a Costco member they are selling 2 big bottles of P20 for about £20 just now.

Thanks for info about Costco, will have to bob in. Ive used p20 for years now, its the only one for me, it may seem expensive when you buy it, but I find that you dont have to buy as many bottles so works out about the same anyway. . There is a new formula out now which only takes 15 mins to dry and I find its not as bad with staining.

i used to used P20 but now used Piz Buin once a day and it is great, as others have said no staining and waiting on it to dry. Superdrug had it on offer BOGOF£12.79 for 200ml

Piz Buin is the favorite for me. I like the all day one when busy but I like the normal one near the pool. I have tried the Piz Buin Intensifier(sp) and I burned my legs with this and I never really burn that much. I have just been to Ibiza and had Piz Buin bronzer on (30 on face) and I did not burn so I think I must have had a reaction to the Intensifier one. My DS has high factor all the time and DD wears P20 but it does stain clothes if not fully dry before dressing. My sister said if you buy the blue one this does not stain clothes but I have not tried it. DD does get a great tan with this though.

Since our first trip to Florida I have been using the Piz Buin. I'm fair skinned and worried a lot about it at first but it's great. My DH also suffers terribly from prickly heat and using this means no more of the nasty rash!!

Love it and thanks for the tip re Tescos selling it cheap!

Piz buin once a day is excellent and dh and ds never had prickly heat with it for a change ! P20 stains and has no UVA protection.

P20 has been reformulated and now has both UVA and UVB protection, it is also supposed to be non-staining now.

We have used Piz Buin the last two years and haven't had any problems with it. Lot less hassle than fiddling about with different factor bottles for everyone in the parks

I'm quite fair skinned but DH tans easily but we both use the Piz Buin Once a Day, just different spf. I got some in the Superdrug offer - bargain! :D
