You can buy them. I looked at Wii when I was over there and whilst a lot cheaper they didn't work in the UK so I imagine PS3 isthe same due to the voltage.

ps3's do work in the uk you just change the power cable to one off a kettle or such like

You can get them from about $400 they do work in the uk as said just change the power lead. games are region free so can buy in us or uk and does not effect online play, not all films will work as they are region coded, would reccommend buyng from walmart as your guarantee is valid at all asda in uk :grin:

I thought it was against law to bring them back now ..did sony not win a ruling in court saying not allowed to bring consoles into the uk from another country?? Maybe im wrong though

Only ruling we heard is against chipping them, which applies to ps2
