Mickey's back yard BBQ was good fun. Also how about Makahiki Luau at Seaworld. Show was really good fun, food & service excellent. About £20 for adults & £13 for kids. Believe they do a christmas show. We've been twice well recommend. Shame about Dixie Stampede that was also good.

There were rumours that Dixie Stampede was going to be turned into a HSM Dinner event - perhaps another Dibber may have more info :confused2

Sleuths on i drive is fab!

We went to Sleuths in April and it was dreadful, awful acting, terrible theatre, foul food - a total waste of money

Went to Sleuths in Feb 2008 and it was awful,
The food, and the acting was dreadful, this was our first dinner show and our last, but must admit they are not our type of thing, we only went as we were with a large group of American friends,

cheers

If Dollys Dixie Stampede was so good (and it was, went last year) why has it closed down?
Did the Polynesian back in 1992 and was most impressed, but dont know what its like now.
No-one has mentioned Capone's, whats that like?

Because the people who own the Premium Outlets mall across the road offered them big bucks for the land so that they can expand the mall (allegedly!). They accepted the offer and within days the Stampede was no more.

Just don't do Pirates, search around this site and you'll find many threads about it, and from costly experience we know what a dive it is - you have been warned!!!!

We are looking for a show to suit our 6 year old. It needs to be a show with a story to keep him entertained. So I think the two disney shows are unfortunately out.

Food needs to be good and include vegetarian for me.

I have a clown phobia so Cirque de Soleil is out *blush*.

Anyone got any ideas as to what would be best?

Can thoroughly recommend Medieval Times. This is a great favourite of all of us, especially DS9. He was 6 when we first went and this is now one of the first things on the list to do for our return - he'd go lots more times if we'd let him

It is an interaction show (lots of cheering for your knight and booing the opposition), with excellent fighting scenes using real swords etc, games on horseback, good displays by the horses and a storyline running through it. After the later show (8pm?), last year the knights came out into the foyer area for photos & autographs, which added to DS's excitment :d: Food is not too bad for a dinner show, but remember to take some wipes as there's not cutlery and pulling apart chicken gets a bit messy :d::d:here's the website - http://www.medievaltimes.com/home.aspx
