We're going to go to Alton Towers 8th July and stay at one of the hotels on site as a warm up to our october Florida trip.
Has anyone stayed at either hotel and if so which would you recommend?
Also does anyone know of any promotional codes or dscounts available.
Thanks

If you are a sky customer you can get 2 for 1 entry into the parks...
No promo codes for the hotel but I will PM you a website you can get good promo codes from. :) x

we stayed only last week, and we much prefer the Alton Towers hotel, but stayed in Splash landings as it was much cheaper :pgig:

Cal and Dave - what's better about AT rather than SL, theres about £30 difference, is it worth it?

We've always stay at the AT hotel - it just seems nicer.

If you are just booking one of the normal rooms, I'd go for the Splash Landings Hotel, they are more or less the same but it's just a bit cheaper. You can still use all the facilities at both hotels as they are joined up via a walkway past the waterpark.

I've booked Splash Landings as the 50% discount was just too good to miss!
Really looking forward to it as it's the first week of DD's summer school holidays and it makes the wait to Florida that little bit easier.

we are going on july 15th. We had a family ticket given to use for free, with 2 adults and 2 children, but we are taking my sister, who is 14 and classed as an adult.... pain in the bum as we will have to get her an adult ticket!

Make sure you order it online before hand, it saves you £7 on the gate price.

We stayed at Splash Landing Hotel which was OK - the buffet Breakfast was good but dinner is expensive - we travelled doen the road and found a lovely pub - well worth it !
The waterpark bit was really good not big but enough for the kids

www.raring2go.co.uk are offering vouchers which admit 2 adults & 2 children for half price! We used them in April with no problems at all and am sure they are valid for most of this year.:thumbs-up:d:
