Can I take crumpets with me?

Does anyone know if I will be allowed to take crumpets in the case? DS who lives and works in Holland is joining us (hooray, can't wait to spend some time with him :)) and he loves crumpets but can't get them in Holland, so thought I would take some out for him if I can.

I don't see why not?! My DFIL was sniffed by the dog at MCO who smelt fruit in his rucksack (he is diabetic so always carries something with him). I am not sure of the exact regulations but likely someone will come along who does!! This will bump it for you anway :)

Have a look on the American Embassey site, it should tell you on there . As long as you don't take fruit in you are ok with most food stuff I think.

Yes, crumpets are fine. Put them in your suitcase that you check in :)

We have taken crumpets for my db (who lives there) loads of times you will be fine:wavey:

Im fairly certain they only restrict fruit, veg, dairy and meat.

Ive taken peanuts, crisps, chocolate, choc chip muffins, etc with me over the years so see no reason why crumpets wouldnt be OK

You will have no problem with crumpets. My daughter was going to get married in Orlando and she wanted a traditional English wedding cake. with dried fruit and marizpan. We where going to bring it to Orlando. We asked at Customs, they said it was fine as long as there was no suet in the cake.

If you don't bring them with you they are available at Publix in their cold section near the yogurt, eggs & english muffins. I've seen them at Walmart but not as often as Publix. They are a standard stock item at Publix.
