Weather in NYC & Anaheim

Can anyone tell me what the weather and temps are like in NYC and Anaheim, California in October? I'm being increasingly put off by the cold weather reports being dibbed about NYC - I dont do cold :tounge:

Not sure about October, but we did Anaheim in June once and it was really chilly!!!!! Think that was probably unusual though!

we've been to NY in early Nov (DH did the NY marathon) Weather was really nice - needed a jacket some of the time as it got a bit cold, but not too cold and was still bright and sunny. It really depends what you see as cold - it was like a mild winters day might be here, so not summery weather but not freezing either.

Never been to NYC but went to Anaheim last 2 weeks in November and the first week was a heatwave in the 90's (which was unusual) and dropped to the 60's the second week. Was still shorts and t-shirt weather but chilly at nights.

I think weather in NY during Oct is very nice. Not cold at all but then I am used to it.
