NYC Transfers

Just booked up via Val :d: for mum and I to go to NY for a couple of days in August. Also booked up for DH and his mum to go a couple of weeks after.....
We are looking for transfers between JFK and the New York Palace for me and mum plus transfers between JFK and the Waldorf Astoria for DH.
Anyone got any recommendations? We have used Chris Limo before but they got oil on my suitcase and never even acknowledged the complaint we sent :mad2: so I'm not too inclined to give them any more business :nonono: - can't afford to keep replacing cases :pgig:

Just looking for a nice Merc or the like.....
Anyone?
Also any thoughts on the Palace or Waldorf?
Anyone know what time the Clubhouse at Heathrow opens?????

We used Carmel limos both into New York and back to the airport. You phone when you clear immigration at JFK and the car was with us within a few minute (Lincoln Towncar). On the way back to the airport we were picked up from the hotel right on time.

The Palace? Since its a 5 star hotel and voted as one of the top 20 hotels in the world I expect it to be awesome. I've never stayed there but the reviews look good.

Will you have a view of St Pats Cathedral?
Bring lots of cash if you plan on room service. I hear breakfast is $50 each.

As for transport from JFK, there was a thread not long ago. Do a search and you'll see some recs.

Forgot to say I think you have the better deal with the Palace than the worn-out Waldorf.

You could try using the Virgin service - booking them with VS Miles (12,500) through Virgin Flying Club. Just give them a call.
