Swan and Dolphin @ Disney

Hi

I am going to surprise my DW and book one night at either the Swan or Dolphin on July 22nd. It's her birthday on the 28th.

Have found some decent prices on the hotel website. However, can fellow dibbers help me with the following questions:

1) Which hotel would you recommend?

2) If I book one nights stay will that give us 2 days EMH - the day we check in and the day we check out

PS - I am rubbish at keeping surprises ;)

We love the Dolphin and have stayed there a few times, so I can highly recommend it. I've never stayed in the Swan, but it is smaller so that may suit you better. BUT, if you're going for the wow factor I would go with the Dolphin as the Foyer with it's tented ceiling and fountain is wonderful. :d:

Yes I think you would be covered for both nights for the EMH, I don't know for sure, as we've never done EMH on our last day, as we leave for our flight home in the afternoon.

We stayed at Swan last year and are going back again this year. Would highly recommend it, rooms were lovely as were the views. When booking through Disney the Swan was reccomended over tyhe Dolphin but I think whichever you chose you wil have a great time!!

We have just recently returned from 2 weeks at the swan.
The location is excellent, Restaurants are fantastic from budget to simply divine. The rooms are very clean and the beds "ohhhhh sooooo comfortable" Overall this hotel is well worth a stay and i`m sure that you wont be dissapointed. We have no hesatation to reccommend and would choose this hotel "swan or dolphin" over any of the disney hotels. Ohh and one more thing......if you do stay....check out the peanut butter ice cream at the fountain bar.
