Thanksgiving 'thru Dec 2008

Has anyone got any ideas about itineraries (we arrive on Thanksgiving this year) and it seems that the parks should be avoided at all costs that weekend?

We don't want to write off the first 3 days (Fri, Sat, Sun) so would like ideas about how to avoid mass mayhem!

We've been spring break, June/July and Halloween in the past. Are the crowds really that much worse?

maybeyou could start with seaworld and aquatica , if you ahve them tickets, if not them try the parks but agree to do half a day with the idea to return another day and then do some shopping may be??
