Well having just put a hold on flights for a disney trip in feb, dh has decided we should do New york instead... that would be just one week instead of the 2 in orlando, but really we couldn't afford to do a week in new york and a week at disney following...
so i'm after some advice on hotels... i'm looking for somewhere that isn't going to break the bank:confused2, that is central and most importantly is spotlessly clean
any advice greatly appreciated:thumbs-up

I went with the girls in March and stayed at the W Times Square, it's quite expensive but they were doing a 3 nights for 2 when you paid by American Express so I signed up for one and saved a night. I signwed up for the Virgin one where they give you airmiles so even better!! The location was fab and you literally walked out the door straight onto Times Sqaure
On a previous trip I stayed at the Milford Plaza which was xcheaper and just slightly longer walk from Times Sqaure but I would still recommend as let's face it you're never in your room.

Can I just are you planning on taking baby to NY.
Are you still planning on February then?
The weather in NYC in Feb will be brutal and with a newborn (?).

I think any time in Feb and possibly March will be far too cold. The wind will be really cutting although there might not be snow. I have been as late as April and found the cold wind almost unbearable.

P S don't forget that the temps quoted are fahrenheit, so anything below 32 degrees is below freezing!
