we really like the movieland, it's clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are large and the all have pc's with internet access... the pool is a fair size and also was very clean.. the hotel is ideally positioned and surrounded by restuarants, wet 'n' wild is directly across the road, and universal and citywalk are within a 10 min walk, a nice stroll and only a $5 taxi ride back at night (we gave $10 inc. tip)...

in fact, we planning on staying there again in feb

Had a bad experiance there December 2006, Would not stay their again. Creepy crawlies in the room, and hostile staff.

Twelve of us stayed there last September. We found the rooms clean, the pool was good, the staff were very helpful and it was in a good location. I hope this helps

Not good for us either. Rudest staff i have ever met and very unhelpful. Our room flooded with toilet water, we could not turn it off. We rang down stairs to reception and asked for help- only to be told somebody would be up in the morning:omg: this was about midnight. We managed to get all our stuff on the bed, the water was running out of the door and all down the carpeted corridor. They kindly sent us a security guard with a plunger. He took one look as he waded through the water which went over his boots and said yes maam we have a problem. My dh managed to stop the flow and we were given new rooms. I asked to be moved the following day. :wavey:
