I don't believe any US games will work on your Wii, the balance board might but the disc won't work...... Form what i've seen previously though, accessories (nunchucks, controllers will work.

They wont work right away, but if you get a freeloader over here (not there or it wont work) you can play US games on the UK wii

Having just bought a Wii Fit from a fellow Dibber (Thanks Michelle) I can say they are a lot of fun and remind you of muscles you did not know that you had!

Just be warned if you are planning on bringing one back, they are quite heavy so they will eat into you're baggage allowance.

The other thing is I believe the US has a shortage aswell so you may not be able to find one.

If you do find one and wish to use a freeloader that should be fine provided you haven't carried out the recent system update from this June as that update means freeloader disc won't work.

Hi if you have an Amazon Uk account you can get a WII Fit from amazon Germany. I used Google translator and ordered it from Amazon Germany site. The total was £75 inc delivery and instruction manual is in several european languages inc english. Th disk and game paly no problems and best of all it came in 4 days.If you dont have an Amazon account go online create one and it will accept your uk account for german site.

Hope this helps.

if you have , ahem, a modded wii it will be fine

Can't you just post it to yourself or is that really expensive?
