Buying a Nintendo DS game in America

Does anyone know whether the Nintendo DS Games out in America fit the DS's in Britain

Its only the chargers on the American DS's that are different the games will be fine.

My DD bought some games for her DS last year in Walmart. They are a lot cheaper over there. she is going to buy some more when we are over next month.:spin:

Hilda hada ds from the states last year and it all work welll uk/usa games fit and work in both

Yes they work fine, I am trying to persuade my son to spend his money on something else this year.

We asked that question in Game before we went and was told they would work, but for some reason you can't take them back into game for them to sell as second hand.

Not a problem. We have US and UK DS's and Games and they all play on each other without any problems.

if you have a chips store near you they might take them as I know my local one does, and with the american charger, we do not have a problem using ours here as we plug it in to our shaver socket in the bathroom also you can pick one up for £4.99 in game and they fit all ds are multi- region and will play any game from any country,

Ten minutes ago I bought 3 DS games in toys r us as they are currently 3 for 2. So at $30 each thats three games for 30 uk pounds. Now in I Store in Florida Mall checking the net for free! Home Thursday though so that's depressing

Many thanks for replies - that leaves us no choice then - will have to cleverly disguise ourselves as its Pokemon DS games she wants but is embarrassed and ashamed of her addiction to Pokemon!!!!!

hi we bought four games in emporium last year and they all work fine on our ds's

We came back at christmas with 16 games and all work ok.

A couple have only just come out on sale in uk so we were well happy!:d:

we bought several but now DS has got rid of his we're taking them back with us this year to trade in against PS3 games as the stores in Florida Mall which used to be Electronic Boutique - cant remember their new name - will take trade items.

Hi,they will work fine they are all region free,i often buy mine from China on Ebay because they are a lot cheaper,:wave:
