Hi, Just wondering if anyone could help me?? :confused2
I have got a Sony Camcorder DCR-SR30 and want to get a larger battery for our trip to WDW in September.
Sony want me to pay £119.00 :angry::erm:for a battery (NP-FH100) but there are websites that are offering the same size battery for £20 :grin::tounge: It all sounds to go to be true, doesnt it?:cry:
I was just wondering if anyone has replaced their battery and can offer any advice :grin:
Thank you :wave::wavey::wave:

We bought spare batteries last trip from Florida mall and will be buying again on the next trip.
The cheapest I saw the compatables for was £59 online but thought they looked different as it also had a lead conection attached.

I have the Sony DCR SR32E but it takes the same bigger battery as your camcorder model. I had the same dilemna before I went and was also attracted by the cheaper versions out there but you need to make sure it's one that doesn't have a separate lead. I bought mine from this company on Amazon and it worked brilliantly:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-NPF-H70-Infolithium-Camcorder-Battery/dp/B000NIZPKE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1214250158&sr=8-3

Only really needed to charge it every other day but did it daily to make sure. It really holds charge well and it's an original Sony part. The company were really good.

No matter what you do, do NOT use a company called Deluxe Digital - they ripped me off big time and only got my money back a while ago.

Hope this helps?

I bought a compatible battery to the one you mention and it comes with a lead that goes from the battery to the power in slot on the camcorder. No real problems although it does look different from the normal battery.
