My 18 year old twins usually visit both stores in Millenium Mall and come away with loads of things. They also like aeropostle (sorry not sure how to spell it!!). I think everything is really good value with the weak dollar.

Hollister will generally have lower prices but not as low as Aeropostale or American Eagle.

I have both but tend to find Holister is more unusual over here. See a few more people wearing A&F but maybe thats just near me if you say everone at school has Hollister!
I think Hollister is slightly cheaper and tends to be more summery/surfy stuff.
Agreed - still a lot less Hollister about the UK than A&F.
Hollister especially appealing to me due to their seagull-like logo - makes it look like a piece of (Brighton & Hove) Albion clothing.
All agree on Aeropostale - for cheap, unbranded externally clothing you really can't go wrong.

My boys love them both - both shops tend to sell similar items especially the shirts but Hollister are cheaper. Around where we live Hollister is quite rare.
A & F have opened a store at 1 Saville Row in london (an old bank building), so loads of A & F gear doing the rounds locally.

Big rumours A&F are going into replace the Burger King store in Picadilly Circus when its lease runs out at the end of this year.

Might be wrong, but isn't Hollister the " cheaper " wing of A & F ?? Both great but A&F just take it for me.

Nearly everyone under 20 last year seemed to be in a Hollister T shirt in the parks! It was driving me mad as to what it was - I thought it was a College or something! When I got back and asked about it someone said Hollister was a cheaper branch of A&F clothing which is why it appealed to teens.
Since then, Ive noticed quite a few shirts if i go into London but none in the "Provincial" towns LOL!!
Nice shirts though although Im probably 20 years too old to get away with them!! :D

Well, Holister is a sub-brand of A&F (only started in 2000).

Both are really good, but i think Hollister items are a lot brighter colours & more fun looking than A&F.

We bought stuff from all those shops mentioned - my DS (nearly 16) loved Hollister and American Eagle. Where we live we 've only recently started seeing A&F, so see no-one in Hollister and of course being a trendy teen (or he thinks he is:d:) he loves that! We're definitely heading for florida mall earlier in our hols when we go back in Oct.

Hi
My 17 year old daughter is very petit (5 foot 1 inch size 8) and can get away with much of the Abercrombie range in childrens sizes, for example hoodies $39.99 jeans $29.99 plus tax(last year) which made them even more of a bargain, so if you too are petit give the children's store in the Florida Mall a visit.
It's one of the few occasions when she doesn't mind being small:d::d:

Noticed this at Easter, thought exactly the same, DD will definitely be looking for Hollister next month :d:

I remember being in Florida Mall and walking past Abercrombie & Fitch and I do believe my chin hit the floor. There was this absolutely gorgeous model type guy standing topless! He looked like Tyson Beckford.
Not that I'm shallow or anything ;) Actually every girl I saw walking past pretty much did the whole double take, mouth wide open staring thing! So he did his job very well.

I like Hollister better - just came home with bags of the stuff. You don't see it over here as much as A&F!!
