Help needed! Honeymoon was in animal Kingdom, where next?

Hi we really need your help. Last year for our honeymoon we stayed in Disneys animal kingdom lodge, which we loved. We are hoping to go back next August and was wondering what the other Disney hotels are like? We could do with a cheaper one!!!

I think the more cheaper disney hotels are all star, pop and movies.I have never stayed at disney but as far as i am aware they are the cheapest and nice all the same :)
LBV also have some nice hotels and is very close to disney :)

We just booked AKL for our next trip but really liked the look of POFQ, looks fab :grin:

If you do consider an off site hotel, the Omni at Championsgate is hard to beat. !:grin:

We had AKL and FOFQ as our two to decide between.

We were planning on booking AKL or WL for our honeymoon in October, but due to our budget being a bit tight we decided to go for POFQ, out of all the moderates it was our favourite simply because it is smaller and has a more intimate look about it.

I would suggest BoardWalk for your next trip. While all the Disney resorts are beautiful , Ive found that what resort to stay at comes down to 2 things, Price and convenience. While you can find less expensive resorts, you can't beat the conveniece of Boardwalk. With 9 restaurants around the lake, 3 bars right on the boardwalk, a 8 minute walk ( or 15 minute boat ride ) to Epcot and about the same for DHS and live acts on the boardwalk at night. And you can't forget that you can see both Illuminations and Wishes right from the boardwalk itself. :thumbs-up

We also stayed at AKL for our honeymoon (just a couple of months ago) it was amazing!! But also decided to book something a little cheaper for next year! We have booked to stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort in May, I have heard wonderful reviews, it has a beautiful, romantic and tropical setting, and you can sit on the beach and watch Epcot Illuminations, as its in a great location too. I have also heard great things about POFQ, we are hoping to stay there next November, I stayed there about 14years ago but honestly cant remember it so looking forward to going back - the CBR attracts me the most though due to the theming :) xx

You will have a fantastic time at AKL, its a great place to stay, and as far as i know its one of the smaller disney hotels. We will be going back there one day!!!
