Busy day guides

We are thinking of going to MGM on the first day, which is a Wednesday. However looking at the Brits Guide MGM is very busy on Wednesdays along with AK. Only AK have EMH that day.
Does anyone know how accurate these guides are, don't want to go and have to queue for a long time so I would rather going somewhere else a little quieter.
Our first day will be 1st October.
Any info would be great.

They're supposed to based on crowd levels into the parks over a the last few years, so they're supposed to be accurate. We have always found them reasonably accurate but there are always exceptions.
