Hi all
In an earlier posting I said that we had to change our dates from apr/may to mid june(15th-29th)for next year. What I would like to know is has anyone been on these dates?
Ive read some threads and I know this is when the american kids are off so we are prepared for it to be really busy.Would we be better off going into the parks really early then leaving say lunchtime and then coming back in at about 6-6.30ish to try and do some more?
Id hate to be stuck in really long queues(sorry lines!)for most of the day when we could be chillin out at the pool or doing some shopping!
Any info would be grately received:d:

We went this year from 13th June - 28th June and everywhere was quite busy. The longest wait we had was 1 1/2 hrs for the Aerosmith rollercoaster at Disney.Everywhere else wasn`t too bad.
I think it would be just as busy at any other time of the year too.We would get to the parks about mid day and then just leave about 5.
Sometimes we would book a meal at Hard Rock or The Sports Grille to give us a break.
The only thing was the weather in the afternoons ,the wind got up then came the rain and thunder and lightning but by after 6 it had cleared up again.:thumbs-up

we will be in florida at the same time as you! We are hoping it wont be mega busy. We went in nov and pretty much walked on every ride....
It will be busy as you suspect. Your plan is similar to the way we tackled it last year though. We were there for the first two weeks in June and found that arriving early, grabbing FP's for the big rides and queueing for the others worked quite well. We also left after lunch and came back around 5pm helped too. Although most days there was a lot of rain late afternoon which made this a little hit and miss.
We also booked 1 night at the RPR in Universal for their FOTL access for two days. This was fantastic :)
Just use the busy day guide and it will help minimise some queues. You will be fine, it's still not peak season! :)
Do the parks as early as possible, it gets very busy very fast! by early afternoon most fastpasses are finished and the queues can be very, very long! EPCOT had queues for Sorin' at 120 minutes, Test Track at about 90 minutes and Mission to Space at 50 minutes by early afternoon over the last few weeks.

we went in june last year didnt think it was too bad queue wise longest we queued was about 30 mins for the mummy at us we found using single rider queues was best most of the time we sat together we are going in june 2010

I am always giving advice over the summer to go to the EMH park then leave it after lunch. Head back to the resort and relax. Then go to a different park that evening and eat, shop, or see a show or attraction that isnt the most popular. It is a much more relaxing time that way. Have fun.
Disney (Hollywood) studios usually have The Star Wars Weekends in June.

We went in June last year and it was very busy but still manageable. Just make sure you get to the parks for opening and use fastpasses and plan an intinerary if there are things you dont want to miss. We saw queues for 3 hours long!!! Also the weather can be bad early evening - we had thunderstorms about 12 days out of 14 and some of the rides closed for inclement weather so we left early a couple of nights x
We did June a few years ago and I don't remember it being exceptionally busy. It was very rainy though.
