I wear a tankini and have never had a problem with it on the rides. But I haven't been on Summit Plummit.:erm:

She should wear what she is comfortable in but if she does wear a bikini then she will need to be aware that she might lose it if she does Summit Plummit!:D

I always wear a one piece swimsuit in the waterparks. I don't want to take any chances:blush:

I would also suggest a one-piece for the sake of her modesty:pgig::pgig::pgig:

One pieces are best for your dignity really - climbing in and out of tubes for most of the slides and as for Summit Plummet - deffo no bikini or it ends up as a necklace and cheese wire:omg::pgig:

Tankinis are fine for most things really.

The one thing I would add, is to advise your Lian not to wear her new/best stuff. Sometimes the tube rides etc are rough on the sides and costumes can snag on lots of little things and get spoiled.

Another vote for a on piece in the water parks - anything else is far too risky!!!

I stick with the one piece too- went with my neice(17 when we went) and she wore a gorgeous little bikini..

She was getting in a tube on the lazy river... and somehow ended up with it as a necklace.. needless to say we went shopping on the way back to the villa for a swimsuit for her!!!!

Hmm, I was planning on just wearing a bikini for the water parks. Does eveyone think this is a bad idea then?? I don't do any scary water rides (because i'm a big wimp) so do you think i'd be ok on the calmer ones?

Or should i plan a shopping trip this weekend to find myself a nice tankini / swimsuit? :)

Amy :) :)

You should be ok if you are totally comfy in a bikini and not doing any of the 'person' shutes. Just be aware that some of the tame raft and tube rides, especially getting in and out of them on the lazy rivers, is most undignified and you may face some 'exposure' shall we say. If you watch out for this you should be fine:thumbs-up
