(sorry, that should have said Megafobia)

In one of Loveducks trip reports he compared Dr Dooms Fear Fall with Bounce at Oakwood Park, and said Bounce was better.

Has anyone been on Megafobia in Oakwood? What ride could you say that compares to in Orlando?

I need to know what I am letting myself in for!!

I'm off to Oakwood next weekend for a practise!:erm:

I'd say Big Thunder Mountain was tamer than Megaphobia- but the theming is better, I think Megaphobia is similar to Gwazi at Busch Gardens- but much smoother, didn't like Gwazi, loved Megaphobia.

DH says Dr doom was better than Bounce ! ( can't say myself- I did Bounce but not DR Doom :) )

I also think apart from the theming Bounce is a better ride than Dr doom. I woudnt know what to compare Megafobia with to be honest but i agree with Ali that BTMRR is tamer.

Never been to Busch Gardens so i couldnt comment on any there.

Sorry I havnt been much help, have I? :o:

I would say bounce is tamer than dr.doom

Big thunder mountain is tamer than megaphobia however gwazi in busch gardens is more of a thrill ride than megaphobia if you see what i mean.

Megafobia is still one of my favourite rides. MUCH smoother than Gwazi. It's been voted best Woodie in Europe and other awards. Love it!

Thanks everyone.

That's very helpful.

I've never been on Bounce, or Megafobia, the biggest one I went on last time we were at Oakwood was the Treetops coaster.

i am such a scaredy cat!!!!!

They are two completely different rides really and you can't really compare them. Megaphobia is a fantastic wooden coaster with no real themeing, and BTMRR is a steel family runaway mine trian with tonnes of themeing.

I agree that the closest you'll get to Megaphobia in Florida is Gwazi at Busch Gardens or perhaps one of the smaller woodies at Cypress Gardens.
