Hi guys,

My partner and I are off on the 26th Sept for 14 nights, staying at the Quality Inn I Drive. Unfortunately I end up having to go on allthe rollercoasters alone, oh it so makes you feel like Billy-No-Mates!

So, a plea...are there any other couples going during the same time who are in a similar position and who wouldnt mind hooking up with us at probably Universal for the big rides? I managed this last time by using TripAdvisor and it was wonderfully succesful! We had a grea laugh.

Thanks,

We nearly always go on roller coasters alone because we use the single rider queue. Much quicker ....mostly!

I just don't get it when partners won't even try a coaster. I used to be a roller coaster wuss and then tried Montu - now you can't get me off them.

Definitely recommend just using the single rider queue, move much faster (sometimes faster than fast pass!) so less time spent on your own! We use these if the standby queue is large even when several of the family want to ride.

I tend to go on the coasters alone cos my dbf is a wuss! He went onto the Mummy the first time we went and swore all the way through, embarassing! SO I went in the single riders que it was quick and I got to do all the rides I wanted :D

oooh I wish I was going then I would have come on with you.
Hubs will go on them, but usually once or twice is enough each ride, I go on over and over again, sometimes till I am queasy !!

Using the single rider line is something I am well used to, that's never been a problem. Screaming my head off with no one to share the terror is the bit I dislike....always so much more fun if you have someone to share the experience with you.

Can I suggest you need a psycho buddy for the slingshot? :pgig:

You're very brave to go on it. I can't hardly even watch it.

Ah that would have been great for us as I am not a huge coaster fan so DH usually has to go on his own, but we fly back on the 13th Sept:(

Dp wants me to start going on roller coasters or we wont be going back to florida, I am a big wuss and wont go on them. We was planning on going back next May with the 2 kids DS who is 5 and DD who will then be 1 1/2.

I sit on the side and hold the bag while DH goes single rider! Lol! I am terrified of the big coasters but each to their own :) x

I am terrified of them, been on TOT and I am not keen on that. Dont like it when my belly gets left behind. I love dudley doo rights at IOA it is my fave ride. Would love to go back nxt year but DP says no unless I go on the coasters. So looks like I am not going to go back unless I go on my own with the kids, and I think I would be too scared to do that.
