Haunt season has begun ladies and gentlemen, the HHN site has been updated. No real indication as to what the theme is yet, but I have a feeling I might know what it is ;)

I looked at it before I saw your thread and saw that the home page had changed. I have no idea what the theme is, I had heard it could be the Saw movies. I can't wait!!!!

:pgig::pgig: I'll just take 5 pairs of flip flops instead of the usual 15!
We have only done 2 so far, 15 and sweet 16. Only been to Orlando 3 times. What about you?

The Wyndam Orlando Resort is holding a spooky Empire Halloween convention this year. Its gonna be hellabusy. I'd probably go to that too if I was going.

:pgig: @ geek. No you're not! I love the halloween season, that's one of the reasons we go when we do.
We are thinking of having a week in Orlando one year, then flying to Boston for a few nights, then up to Salem for Halloween.

You have just unleashed a monster!!! I have just spoken to DH about transferring this years accomodation to next year, as we havent booked the flights yet, and booking to go while that convention is on. Have you seen the guests? Jay and boy from Rob Zombie's Halloween.

Hi,
Oh what a shame you'll be missing out on it this year, I also felt that hmph!! Poor thing! Never mind, there are a few of us going that can report back, not that it will make you feel in any way better about it.
I love them, I can't believe that we missed last years, and like slayervixen I did myself no favours by being glued to the wesite every day, watching what I was missing out on!
We are missing that sppokyempire thing by 7 days!!!!!!!!!

I'm feeling HMPH just now and its only July so God knows how I'll be come October.
Can't believe I'm missing it, I really should have saved but I thought I'd be able to cope one year without going..it would appear I was wrong!
We are going again this year :spin:.We went to Sweet 16 and loved it

What theme do you think it may have this year?
Looks really good! I love scary films but I dont know how i would cope with the real thing!
Love to have the confidence to go though.
How scary is it? :o:
Bit off though that they wont let you in if you wear a costume...........

It's purely so both the staff and the guests can identify who is staff. All it would take would be a drunken idiot in a costume to start taking things a little too far and they'd have a disaster on their hands.

I was just going to say the same. I like that you don't wear costumes, can you imagine if everyone had costumes on?? Drunken idiots would take advantage and you wouldn't know which was a scareactor and which was not.

Scarier than The Exorcist but not as scary as Halloween!
That is probably no help lol. The houses are obviously the scariest parts, but the scare zones can also be bad if you have chainsaw weilding bikers running up behind you!
Give it a try, you can always leave if it is too much for you.
