We are going to be getting annual passes for Disney and Seaworld parks - our first trip is May 2009, then Nov 2009, then hopefully April 2010.

When can I order the annual passes?
Are they valid from first day of use or when you buy?
When can I use the benefits - access AP holder hotel rates etc?
As we have booked CBR for May 2009, but will be booking next 2 trips accommodation afterwards x

Hiya we ordered our Disney APs over the phone and were posted a green card voucher which we exchanged at guest relations at EPCOT (Can be exchanged at any of the parks guest relations) and it became active from the date we exchanged it. I'm not sure if you can use the benefits before it has been activated because you don't get the annual pass number until you are in Disney World.

Where can I buy one? I am thinking of getting one for our trip in Feb. Also what sort of dining offers do you get?

think you get 10% off certain restaurants at certain times - Upgrade to DDE (Disney Dining Experience) for much better discounts. It's about $60.00 is you have an annual pass if I remember correctly to upgrade and you get 20% off meals at most disney restaurants.

Disney is around $650 (plus tax I guess) - so can't really see the benefit of getting one.

A 21 day ticket is $230 (no tax if purchased here) plus parking at $11 a day - so it would only be cost effective if going to Disney more than 30 or 40 days in a year.

Unless I have got my sums wrong.....

Disney's Premium AP's are
Adult including tax $616.66
Child including tax $543.17

Disney's AP's
Adult including tax $477.12
Child including tax $420.68
