Back in 2001, my eldest DD was 19 months old and she really enjoyed this, but at which park was it at? :confused2

It's a flat area of tarmac, terracotta red in colour, where lttle jets of water shoot up at random and soak you if you get in the way.

Where is it? :thumbs-up

Sounds like Downtown Disney to me (ie not a park at all).

EPCOT has dancing fountains too, a couple of which can get you.

We never went to Downtown Disney so I don' think it's there.
We saw some fountains at Epcot last year that had this, but they were fountains.

This was an area on the floor.

There was a wet play area in Seuss Landing at IoA I think.

Sounds like the bit in universal before you get into the actual park but are walking from the car park (DD got soaked) or DTD (DD had the hump because I wouldn't let her get wet as we were waiting to fly home)

Ah gotcha - could be the wet play area by where the kids meet Aerial in the Magic Kingdom.

our 2 kids ((dd3 & ds2) loved the area outside Ariel's grotto, also if you goto to Universal there is a large area there, i think it is the Curious George area, they had lots of fun there

EPCOT also has another set of fountains from the ground where children play. It's between spaceship earth and world showcase walkway just after the big fountains at the side of the path.

They're blooming everywhere, and have some strange magnetic call to my kids who regardless of the time of day and how much of a hurry we are in, must run in and spend ages getting soaked.

The best soaking is in Universal with the magic fountain, but there is also a great wet play area in seawork and busch, the area your talkng about sounds like a bit in epcot between the two areas, just make sure you carry a change and a towel:)

Epcot i feel as last time i went there it had a car wash with water sprays and then had water jets coming out of the floor

My first thought was IOA, possibly over by Dudley do-rights. But it could be anywhere in that park/Universal/citywalk really!
