Have 2 dds 12 & 8. We have never been to any of the dinner shows and wondered which one would be most fun for them. They do both like horses but I've read some bad reports about Arabian Nights. Any suggestions please - thanks
How about Capones down on the 192, should be a good night out, plus it's a buffet

I found Arabian Nights absolutely terrible and a complete waste of time. The meal was awful.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Spirit of Aloha at the Polynesian.

Hi we did arabian nights a few years ago, we didn't like it much, they kept falling off the horses and the buffet wasn't that good.
we also did pirate adventure this June and this was worse, the audio was bad we didn't understand what was going on, we never did get the story line, the food a little better, fresh and hot, but nothing special. The coke served during the show was watered down.the drinks in the bar on entry were a rip off too.
We have done both Arabian Nights and Pirates. If you go with you eyes open - i.e. the food will not be gourmet and the story is always a bit corny - then you can have a good time! Our DD loved them both and we have sojme great photos with the cast. We thought they were OK - her enjoyment doubled ours!!!

Done Arabian Nights and wouldn't go back. Expected cheesy-ness, bad food etc but it was just terrible. I've seen many different horse 'entertainment' shows-for want of a better description-(spirit of the horse, spanish riding school etc) but this really was dire. Food not even average for dinner shows either.

Can thoroughly recommend Medieval Times. This is a great favourite of all of us, especially DS9. Middle son came with us on our first trip in 2004 when he was 16 and this was the only thing he really enjoyed on the whole of the holiday :confused2
It is an interaction show (lots of cheering for your knight and booing the opposition), with excellent fighting scenes using real swords etc, games on horseback, good displays by the horses and a storyline running through it. After the later show (8pm?), last year the knights came out into the foyer area for photos & autographs, which added to DS's excitment Food is not too bad for a dinner show, but remember to take some wipes as there's not cutlery and pulling apart chicken gets a bit messy here's the website - http://www.medievaltimes.com/home.aspx
