hi,
we want to eat in one of the restaurants in MGM, sorry, hollywood, can't get used to that, can anyone tell us what the best would be for 2 adults, we are on a budget so the high end ones are out, so its either, sci-fi dinner or, 50's prime time.

Also where can we get a themed meal at MK, but not character, if that makes sense.

thank you
christine.

We refer 50's the food at Sci fi was horrid ! I think at MK most of the sit down meals are all character. Although there is an Italian at the entrance called Tony's I think ? Liberty Tree Tavern at lunchtime isn't character either .

We have been to both Sci fi and 50s prime time and have ADRs booked for both again next trip. We do prefer the dinner menu at prime time to the lunchmenu though.

As for MK I think it needs more full service restaurants, I haven't eaten there but I would think Tonys would be the only themed one without characters.

We've had great meals at both Prime Time and Sci Fi, so a hard choice there but I prefer Sci Fi for themeing. How about the Plaza at MK, a lovely little Art Deco themed restaurant just off Main Street with a simple menu and delicious desserts.

50's Prime Time is probably better for the food quality & choice, and the theming and the CM banter there is great. Sci-Fi is more burger-oriented food, but the ambience there is fabulous. If I could only do one, it'd be Prime Time.

I would agree with this post. The Sci-Fi diner is more burgers & hot dogs, where as the Prime Time cafe has a more varied menu. The theming at both though is brilliant.:wavey:

Ooooh thats a hard choice :confused2 Sci-fi is great and food is what you would expect from a drive thru restaurant. 50's prime time is traditional american food great atmosphere waitresses are hilarious they told my husband off for putting his elbows on the table and leaving his green beans :d: Probably not much help am i

hi thanks everyone, going to book for the prime time dinner menu.

It sounds like fun, will they still interact with just the 2 of us?

Probably more so - especially if they can use you as an example for the other tables nearby! :)

We've done the sci-fi diner. kids loved it, food was ok. Have the 50's prime time booked for August and really looking forward to it.
