We are going over to Florida on Xmas eve for 13 nights, staying in Pop. We have always stayed on I Drive in the past, so this is all new for us :spin:

We've already booked the flight and hotel (seperately), and have also booked 2 adr's for Xmas day and New years eve. Would it be worth us getting the DDP or just trying our chances? Bearing in mind that we are a 24 year old couple ;) But we aren't driving :confused2

Thanks :wavey:

The value of the dining plan all depends on the type of eaters you are. If you like to sit down and eat at least once a day and you like to eat another hardy counter service as well then the dining plan maybe for you. We have found the plan very convenient for us.

I would say that now the appetiser and tip are not included it is NOT worth paying - my one exception would be WDW at Christmas.
It is a fair bet that if you want to eat at a sit down/TS restaurant and not even the most popular ones - you will have to ADR (reserve) some if not all your meals. In that case the DDP could pay for itself?

We sat down and did some sums.
For us even with the starters and tip not included anymore it works out good deal for the places we are eating at. This is the 2nd time that we are paying for the DDP.
