Can anyone tell me what jungle jims is like as i've heard it mentioned a few times and have no idea what its like or where it is.Me and the kids will be staying on i drive for 10 days and ASM for five in june so ideally any close location to any of these will be ideal. Also has anyone been to planet hollywood in DTD and /or london as i'm considering going on our next trip and more urgently perhaps i'm considering taking my son and a few of his friends to the one in piccadily for his bithday later this month.

Jungle Jims is in Crossroads (just down the road from Downtown Disney). I've taken the kids there a few times and we always really enjoy it. They serve big portions and it's reasonably priced. However, I have heard a few not so good reviews on the place recently, so not sure if it's gone down hill over the past few months.

The Downtown Disney Planet Hollywood is another of the kids favourites. It can get busy so try and get there late afternoon/early evening unless you're prepared to wait. It's not cheap but it's a great atmosphere.

I haven't been to the Planet Hollywood in London but the Rainforest Cafe in London is excellent (as are the two in Orlando) and so is the Hard Rock Cafe.

HTH

We went in january and had three wonderful meals at Jungle Jim's - cheap and excellent grub, nothing fancy, but that's not what we were expecting. if you like a large choice of burgers then it's brilliant.

I must admit, I'd rather go to Rainforest Café instead of Planet Hollywood.

Another one to try (with children especially) is the Gourmet McDonald's. From I-Drive, go east along Sand Lake Road, under the I4 and you'll find it on the left hand side (opposite Days Inn) about 200 yards. BigMac for the kids, and something nicer for you. I had pasta with shrimp done in sun-dried tomato pesto - lovely ! There's a photo in my trip report somewhere. (and photo's of the food at JJ's, if you're interested)
