View Full Version : In diner bakery?????

Can someone please help me to settle this dh and i have been racking our brains about this one! The first time we went in 2003 we remember going to a diner type place to eat and it had its own little bakery where you could buy whole pies etc to go we certainly didnt go to it last time and cant remember what is was called we have both sort of agreed that it was Perkins any ideas guys ????:confused2

so were we right then? Are they still about i just dont recall seeing one last time? And is there one on the 192???;)

Denny's used to do them.....don't know if they still do, haven't been to a Denny's for years.

I can remember when we went in 1995, my Mum got a beautiful coconut pie to take back to the hotel. We all laughed because we didn't have a knife to cut it. :D

You'll just have to go to both of them ;)

We went to the Perkins at the Crossroads Shopping centre last year - assuming it's still there.

There is a Perkins on the 192, but last time we went the food was dreadful and the service was terrible as well, only place we've been were we didn't leave a tip !

The Perkins on the 27 past Berry Town has a bakery which sells pies and cakes

It is definately Perkins i was looking for just had a look at their website and there is one at the top of old lake wilson road where we stay woohoo:d:

We went to Perkins last year for breakfast and it was fab. H192 near marker 4 somewhere if my memory serves me correct.

I'm sure it would have been Perkins, the pies in the Bakery looked to die for mmmmmmmmmmmm. Very reasonably priced too :thumbs-up we ate at the one on the 192 in Feb :smile:
