Have just come back and would highly recommend this small resort to anyone. we booked a 3 bed townhouse and were given a 4 bed. it was massive 3 bathrooms (there only was 3 of uslol) was 1 min from 192 near the super target and was really clean and spotless. pool was never too busy and meet a nice bunch of people. we had a great visit and def would think of going back there in the future. shirley

Sounds good Shirley, how did you find the travelling times to the parks from that side of the 192? We are staying at Cane Island which is that end too but normally stay the opposite end.
I too stayed at Club Cortile and we also got a 4 bed townhouse after booking for a 3.
Place was fabulous, and Applebees at the end of the road was utterly superb eating establishment, right on our doorstep.

Can these be booked through Hotelopia?

Thanks Shirley, I can't decide between Club Cortile and Cane Island.
Think I may have to start a thread.

i prefer a townhouse to a condo as you have more space and noone above you making a noise. did a condo in WH but felt a little cramped in a 3 bed one. both resort are only minutes apart but can only say we found CC TO BE IDEAL FOR US AND THE POOL WAS NEVER BUSY AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY. i will try and get ds to put piccies up but if you google CC YOU WILL SEE THAT most of the accom is furnished the same (only the colour of carpets seem different our was beige) but the main bedroom has the biggest bed i have ever slept in lol shirley

Townhouses do not always have more space than condos it depends where you stay, alot of properties will quote the square footage so this can help you decide. We are a family of two adults and three children and do never feel cramped in our condo.

So is one townhouse and one condo? if so which is which and where can I book Club Cortile?
I have seen Cane Island on Hotelopia for a really good price, but the prices for our actual date are not yet up. Don't think I have seen Club Cortile on Hotelopia but if you could point me in the right direction for a similar site to price up that would be great.
Cane Island is all condos, I believe Club Cortile is a mixture of condos and townhouses

How long does it take to get onto Disney roads from Cane Island?
I fancy Cane Island as it is at the other end of the 192. We stayed on H27 last time. Does traffic get quite bad in the morning?
We like Golden Corral for breakfast so looking at a map we could visit the one on Vineland Road and then be practically in Disney. Does this sound right?
Not bothered about Universal as we going to spend a night in one of their hotels.
Thanks for the help.
Are some of the condos far from the pool.
Cane Island is situated just off highway 192 so the time it takes to then get into Disney is dependant on the traffic and luck of the lights, we went over May half term and we were in Magic Kingdom andHollywood Studios a couple of times within 10 mins.
Looking at the map I think I see the Golden Corral you mean by Bahama Breeze, we dont tend to go that way but yes you would be close to Disney from there.
Some of the condos are further from the pool than others if you look at our website you can see the blocks are built round a lake, but I would of thought you would get one near the clubhouse as they are still selling them at the moment and as far as I am aware the blocks furthest away have not been sold yet, obviously I cannot guarantee this but this is how it appeared to be in May.

Thanks Gill that's a great help. Any eating places near by that you would recommend?
Within a 5 min walk there are quite a few, we enjoyed a meal at Chilis and my husband and eldest son crossd the 192 (there is a pedestrian crossing) to the Kabuki Japanese restaurant and had a lovely meal. Previuosly we have had nice meals at Romanos Marconi Grill, others within walking distance include Cracker Barrel, Uno Chicago and Longhorn steakhouse but we have not eaten at these. We have had takeaway pizza from Papa Johns which was nice and unfortunatley there is a Krispy Kreme in walking distance which is really not good for the waistline, hope this helps.
