Hi All, At the weekend I had to re-install Windows.
My one small problem is the font.
The best way for me to describe it is to say that the font looks "washed out", or it needs to be darker......Any ideas anyone ?

Regards......Ted

Have you installed the video driver software Ted?

Hi Ted

Funnily enough, I had to reinstall Windows on my daughter's laptop at the weekend. What a nightmare!!!

Do you actually mean the font in general or are you just referring to the fonts on your desktop, i.e. on your toolbar/taskbar & next to your desktop icons?

If that is what you are referring to, you can just click on Control Panel, then Display, then the Appearance tab, you should then get the option of being able to change the size of your fonts or if you click on the Advanced option (within the Appearance tab), you can tinker about the font settings in there until you get the font you are looking for or which best suits your personal taste.

Sorry - I do assume you're on Windows XP and not Vista because all of the above refers to XP?!?!?!

Hope that helps?

Is the problem just when using internet explorer ? if so click on view at the top of the page and select text size.

Hi, No it's a general font problem with every application/program.

Hi Guy's, You know what this was one of those really trivial things that was really bugging me
I changed the screen resolution to 1280 by 1024 pixels and it's done the trick.
Thanks Guy's.
