 DH wants to go to Gatorland, would you 'use' up a day to go there or do you think I should convince him its something to do on our last day?
Many thanks
We spent 3.5 hours at gatorland really enjoyed it watched a few shows walked around, got a photo with a gator, rode the train and had lunch and found it quite relaxing. I would say the time we spent there was just about right any longer and we may have struggled for things to do.

Hi
Gatorland is more a half day than full, why don't you do Gatorland in the morning and hit the Florida Mall in the afternoon.
xx
We spent about 3 hours at Gatorland, managed to do all the animal shows and walked around. It was getting too hot tho by midday and left happy that we had done everything we wanted to.
It was a nice diversion from the main parks.

We've planned to go to Gatorland on the way to the airport on our last day! DH and I have been before but haven't bothered taking DD so far. However she was looking at our old photos and thought it looked 'cool' so rather than wander around the shops on that last morning feeling depressed (whih is what we usually do!) we thought we'd go to Gatorland. We're going for 16 nights and only have a 14 day WDW pass so we needed to do something non-disney that day anyway (we did Disneyquest last year but that's not an option this year as our ticket has run out!)

I agree that Gatorland is a great half day's entertainment. Our kids enjoy the relaxed atmosphere there.

We spent half a day at Gatorland and teamed it up with a ride on the airboats at boggy creek.

We were planning to do Gator land with the Boggy Creek airboat ride but as yet itinerary not fully completed as we keep changing our minds about what to do. l would have reservatons about doing Gatorland before we go to the airport as somebody told us the gators were quite smelly are they or not?

we found it a relaxing half day too, we treated it as more of one of our "days off" from the crowds.really interesting place to go.walking round the theme parks you forget you're actually in a tropical climate til you see the gators there!:)

I don't remember them being that smelly - I would be more worried about me smelling tbh due to the location and lack of a/c it is a "hot" place.

If you get close enough to smell them I doubt if you get to tell the story whether they are smelly or not :omg::omg::omg::grin:

We always wondered if this was worth a visit and we may too combine it with shopping, however we prefer lake B factory stores to FM. How much is it to get in?

It was not my cup of tea, I prefer the larger parks. One place I would recommend for a relaxing day is Silver Springs, although quite a drive it is very pretty and well worth it.
