Turkey Legs was one of the main things I was looking forward to having when we went to Disney. We shared one in AK, but it was very disappointing and I really did not enjoy it at all.

Seem to remember liking one the first time we went in 2000 to Magic Kingdom (perhaps we were hungry :tounge:), however last year DS kept pestering until we got him one (this time from MGM) and to be honest it wasn't how we remembered it. :confused2 It was ok, but something we'll probably pass on this time.

we love them and always share one, they are slow cooked for hours so should be cooked through, there's a disney programme that Andre once downloaded and it shows how they are injected with salt water and then cooked for a good few hours, probably why it tastes so much like gammon to me.

We thought they smelt lovely, and as we were starving, we got one each. They tasted OK - like boiled ham as someone has said, but we found them very tough and full of sinews and tendons which are not easy to eat at all, and most got thrown away.

Hi
We all loved them, we get one and share between us all, we graet that for a snack rather than crisps or ice cream.

Myself and DH liked these when we first tried them, similar to gammon. DH still does but I find them too big and messy. Like the size of a leg of a small child lol!!

I've always fancied trying one as I like the smell of them, but I've been put off as they look a bit freaky looking for my liking. Looks like they belong in the Dino section in AK.
