We are going over twice next year. It's the first time we have done this.

We've been before, 3 times now but the first two times we bought the 14 day disney etc tickets. This year as it was only me and DH we bought the tickets on the day as needed.

What I am thinking about now is what would be the best to do for next year, the options are:

2 sets of 14 day tickets, 2 sets of 3 day universal tickets etc
Annual passes - might be more expensive but are there perks that would make up for it?
14 day non expire tickets - if these are still around
buying on the day as we don't really know where we will be

What would you do?
Thanks
Vic

Vic, as far as I know you have to pay a premium for the non expire tickets. They are available under Magic Your Way options. To be honest though I think I would go for the annual passes. Like you say there are perks involved and I don't think the price will be that different from that of the non expiry tickets.

BTW, we were in Florida last week and there is a Pepsi promotion going on there just now for Universal Studios. Now I didn't pay too much attention but I'm sure it was something to do with getting a full years access when you pay for a few days. Certainly Seaworld is running adverts just now saying that you pay for one days access, get admission for the full year.

Will look into this. Cheers.

I love the whole planning expereince as there is sooo much to think about. (Project management just follows me from work into home life. At least I haven't wrote the vision down yet :pgig:)

That's a shame it expires in Dec 08. I will keep my eyes open for 09 offers however.

When is it you are going Vic? Are the two visits in 09? If so I'm sure there will be other deals.

The situations a bit stagnant in Orlando at the moment. I think Universal have one new ride coming on line in 2009 but most of their work is going into the new Harry Potter world which I believe is due to open in late 2009. I don't think Seaworld or Busch Gardens are planning anything at all in 2009 and I think Disney's efforts are being focused on the new DVC building at AKL and the new building at the Contemporary rather than on rides in the parks. The'll be competing for what business is out there so I reckon we'll see more of these kind of offers as has happened in the past.

We are off in Feb for 2.5 weeks and July for another 2.5 weeks. It was a spur of the moment work life is getting me down reason when I booked the second holiday.

Will keep looking to see what, if any offers come up for 09.
