sorry i cant help out,but im very interested in doing this myself,so i will be following your thread lol
Hi
We did the Boggy Creek Airboat ride two years ago when we went & I have to say it was fantastic. It was a total change from the parks and we were lucky enough to see some fantastic wildlife. I would thoroughly recommend it as a pleasant half day out.
A word of warning, though. The toilets were a little unpleasant & basic when we went. Obviously they may well have improved since 2006 as we didn't go this year when we went but they were rather smelly & dirty - certainly not up to the standards of Disney!
Louise.
We also did it a couple of years ago too, but didn't experience the loos! We had a really great time and saw loads of wild life. It was a fairly quiet time of the year when we went but nonetheless, got there for opening time as it can get busier later in the day. There are actually 2 Boggy Creek Airboat locations. We went to the West one which is South of Route 192 at the bottom end of Poinciana Boulevard.

We didn't experience moquitos on our trip but it was November. However, the airboat went through a massive swarm of midge like insects but the airboat driver told us not to worry as they don't bite and they didn't.

We've done both completely different experience on both - must say that the loos are a bit rare and did think it myight have been cleaner going behind a bush lol - We did see a couple of racoons up close and personal though.

Ive done both Boggy Creek rides and would suggest doing the East Lake Fish Camp one rather than the Southport Park.

I've done the ride 5 times and it's been great on every time. The last guide made plenty of 'swerves' with the boat, thinking he was something out of CSI Miami (Vice).
Each guide has been very informative and have the trained eye of someone who has spent years watching the wildlife on and around the water.
Highly recommended.

Had a great time last year. Didn't see any gators, but very informative guide showed us all the different birds etc that are on the lake. Lovely to see the bald eagles in flight and nesting. Good value for money.
We're going to try a different one this year, been looking at going to Black Hammock airboats to see a different area.
We love doing an airboat ride, it`s really fun. We`ve always seen plenty of wildlife including `gators! The one we always go to is the East Lake Fish Camp location at Boggy Creek. Have a look at www.bcairboats.com :-)

We went to this one as well, saw some 'gators - not massive ones though - but it was good to see them in the wild - the airboat ride was fun as well.
