I have posted an itinerary before but I have tweeked it since. Most feedback surrounded avoiding water parks at the weekend but I have ended up leaving it in because I want to experience each park asap to allow reflection. I have left free days at the end of each segment of the holiday so we can revisit our favourites then. We have a 14 day pass to Disney, Ultimate DC and a weeks ticket to US/IOA so I have sort of broken it up as the first two weeks will be Disney and the last week will be the others although there will/can be some overlap in the middle week.

Day -1 Wed 23 July – Do OLCI with Virgin. Kids finish school, mum drives us to Travelodge at Manchester airport. Hopefully with aid of TomTom she gets home ok!

Day 1 Thur 24 July Virgin flight from Manchester to Orlando. - Arrive at hotel (Fairfield Inn - I-drive). Depends very much on how early/late we arrive as to what to do. Would like to get to Walmart and have a browse and then chill in pool or vice versa - take a wander in vicinity to get bearings and then get an early night.

Day 2 Fri 25 July Hit Animal Kingdom for opening. I expect that by mid afternoon given jet lag and heat that we will be flagging and probably head back to hotel to chill and eat for another early night.

Day 3 Sat 26 July Another early start to do Epcot - again don't see that we will do a full day.

Day 4 Sun 27 July Blizzard Beach. I think another early start and will probably leave around lunch depending upon how bearable/unbearable it is. Do some shopping in the afternoon.

Day 5 Mon 28 July Again another early start to hit Magic Kingdom for opening. Will do as much as we can but again think by late afternoon we will be flagging, if not earlier.

Day 6 Tues 29 July Disney Studios - yep you guessed it up and out for opening. Am hoping that we can do most of this park in the one day.

Day 7 Wed 30 July Typhoon Lagoon - Perhaps a leisurely start today and just stay here until we feel the need to leave, if we have the energy perhaps hit some shops.

Well thats the first week accounted for. Mostly early starts as I feel that given that our body clocks will be on catch up we should be naturally up early ( we are a family of early birds anyway).
The second week will be a week to lie in (a bit) and re-do what bits of the parks we missed and do fireworks/parades , etc. A bit more leisurely hopefully.

Day 8 Thur 31 July Possibly a split day to re-do favourites at Animal Kingdom and Disney Studios. Do Disney Studios in the evening to see Fantasmic.

Day 9 Fri 1 Aug - Complete Epcot and stay to watch Illuminations.

Day 10 Sat 2 Aug - Magic Kingdom - a later start to complete what we didn't do and hopefully re-do our favourites. ADR for dinner at Crystal Palace. Stay to watch Wishes.

Day 11 Sun 3 Aug - Discovery Cove.

Day 12 Mon 4 Aug - Free day - We will either do something non park related from our non park to do list or re-do some favourites from the parks.

Day 13 Tues 5 Aug - Another "Free Day"

This is the end of Disney for the holiday.... Now for our last week.

Day 14 Wed 6 Aug - Check in to RPR (1 night) for FOTL Passes, hit Islands of Adventure and City Walk for the day/night.

Day 15 Thur 7 Aug - Breakfast with Homer (Beer & Doughnuts anyone?) - Universal Studios

Day 16 Fri 8 Aug – Aquatica – Earlyish start hopefully.

Day 17 Sat 9 Aug - Seaworld

Day 18 Sun 10 Aug - "Free Day"

Day 19 Mon 11 Aug - Busch Gardens

Day 20 Tues 12 Aug - "Free Day"

Day 21 Wed 13 Aug - "Free Day" - Cirque du Soliel for our last night and ADR for House of Blues. OLCI for Virgin.

Day 22 Thur 14 Aug - Pack (sob) - go and buy more cases to pack purchases (?) - Visit Gatorland on the way to the airport. Virgin flight home from Orlando to Manchester.

Other Activities
Kennedy Space Centre
DisneyQuest
Celebration
Airboats

These are our must do "other activities" which will be fitted in to free days or other free time that we may have. What we do on our free days will obviously dependant upon how we are coping. We may just sit by the pool god forbid!

Although it seems fairly regimented there are very few days that are completely fixed. The only booked things are Discovery Cove, the ADR at the Crystal Palace, Cirque du Soliel and our days at Universal and IOA are determined by our 1 night stay at RPR. Other than these fixed items all the others can be changed dependent upon circumstances.

I would obviously welcome any comments, advice on this schedule.

Cheers

Hi

You are at DC the same day as us. We fly from Man on Sat 26th for 3 weeks. If you wear a carnation in your swimsuit we will recognise you.:):)

Enjoy your hols, it sounds an action packed holiday.

RPR is the Royal Pacific Resort, its a Universal hotel. By staying there you get front of line passes for the day you check in and the day you check out. It works out cheaper for 4 to do this than purchase the front of line passes individually.

Hope this helps.

Hope you have a great time, we won't be far behind you.

You're at RPR the same night as us! We're also being joined by an American cousin popping down from Georgia with her grandaughter and we'll definitely be chilling out by the pool at some point on both days. No way could we stay in the park from 9am to 10pm esp as the FOLP will have taken away the stress of trying to fit everything in.
