Problem with Norton Anti Virus

My Norton Anti Virus keeps telling me that '1 item is affecting my status':omg:

When I click 'fix problem' it goes through the live updating, and at the end says my virus protection is up-to-date.:thumbs-up

Seconds later, it tells me that '1 item is affecting my satus':omg::omg:

I've repeated this process numerous times but can't seem to correct the error message. Any ideas? Be gentle and keep it simple, I'm no computer programmer.:pgig::pgig:

honey I have had endless problems with Norton Virus protection, I have put many threads on you will see.
Everyone tells me to get rid of it because its so bad at these things.
If your Norton has a tick you are covered. I wouldn't worry about it.
Is it affecting anything xx

I agree get rid of Norton altogether, its not the best software, used to use norton & changed to AVG, its free and detected virus that norton did not find.
