Just back from Orlando today and I thought that I would let you dibbers know about a fantastic offer for anyone visiting Sea World.
When you purchase a one day ticket at the booth/gates at Sea World they will upgrade it for unlimited access to the park for the remainder of 2008 - providing you ask them.
It is called a fun pass and is advertised at the gates, it is open for everyone and for some unknown reason it is competely free of charge once you have paid for your one day ticket.
Unfortunately I have no idea how long this offer is for!

So, do you Ask and pay for a one day then say to the same cashier that you want to upgrade it to a fun pass or do you take it inside to the 2nd day free ticket booth and do it there??????

thanks for the heads up!! This is similar to the offer they had on when we were there in November 2006 - we'd bought our tickets over here but they upgraded the tickets on our first day's visit when we asked...great deal - might save us having to buy the flex ticket if we can get some decent Universal tickets/deals?!?

they was also doing this in 2001 on my first ever trip to orlando, looks like they keep it quiet, because i didnt know about it until another couple in the hotel i was staying told me about it,i just had to go to guest services after entering the park and they upgraded the ticket to last the 14 days of my holidays
you can order these online and they are valid until 31st december 2008. then the new ones are out from the 1st jan-31st december 2009. we have had these funcards, you get 10% off all merchandice and food and free access to the skytower. if you get one and then want to go back to florida the following year then you can upgrade to a annual pass which also will include free parking.

We've been buying fun cards for years :D
Always recommend them - particularly if you are going for more than 14 days - they are available on the Seaworld website.
They do not usually give discounts or free parking - we usually get one member of our party a Silver Passport & the rest fun cards - saves a lot on parking, eating & shopping :)

I am not sure whether you could take it inside to the second day free ticket booth. We just mentioned it when purchasing the ticket at the gate and they upgraded it there and then. It is a great offer if you like Sea World.
Also they only asked us to scan our fingerprint on the second day so, in theory, you could pass on the tickets to someone else after you have used them for one day!

In theory - no you can't. The tickets are non-transferable!
Seaworld can (and usually does in my experience) scan your finger almost every visit - we have also been asked for photo id when we've had problems with the finger scan.
