Help.
I cant seem to get past page 18 on some dibb threads. here is one http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=223381&page=18 its page 18 but cant get it to go to page 19 where the latest postsa are.
Anyone else having the same problem.

Very Strange. Think I must be having a Twilight Zone moment.............
I had that the other day with lower pages, would click on page 3 and it would just refresh the page I was on!
Seems to be sorted now though - I am using Firefox and it has been 'buggy' lately, closing sessions due to a "problem" - never had this before and wondering if the two are linked?

I've had the same problem a few times lately, it can't be firefox as I'm using Internet Explorer.

At least its not me going MAD. I know i am sometimes but I was just going to get ready to sign my self in at the hospital hehehehe
Try clearing out the Internet cache, sometimes you get a corrupt file in there which can cause problems.

I can't get to page 134 on that link.
The only thing I can think of is there is no page 134, there may have been, either the post was removed by the poster or one of the mods, but the pointer to page 134 still remains. All the other pages that have been posted I'm able to get into with no problems at all.

Ive had that problem as well, but not in the last few days.
It seems to happen on long threads where the last posting in that thread is at the bottom of a page, and the DIBB thinks for some reason that it should have another page... but there's nothing to go on it. So clicking on the 'next page' button just takes you to the thread's last page (i.e. back to the top of the one you're on again).
I've seen it a number of times, but only with very long threads. As soon as a real posting is made to force a new page to be genearted, the 'next' link works fine. I had it with the same thread as tazman earlier today, which got stuck at the end of page 18 (posting #270). There was a link showing to page 19, but it didn't really exist until three hours later when posting #271 was made.

The problem currently exists on this thread: http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=103789&page=12. Well, until someone posts a new message after #179 on it anyway.
Hopefully a mod or admin will spot it in time and temporarily lock it so nothing new can be posted creating a real page 13 before it can be checked. Thanks...

We did manage to replicate the problem on that thread and think we have found the bug.
Thanks Stu, glad I could help.
Sounds like one of those bugs you have to catch at just the right time to troubleshoot it. Message #179 in that thread (as of last night) is now message #181 on the next page, which is presumably where it should have been all along. There must have been some phantom messages which followed us home... :)
